Abstract
Sedudo Waterfall in Nganjuk Regency is a natural tourism potential that holds its own charm. However, to optimize its development, appropriate and sustainable strategies are required. This research aims to identify and analyze the tourism development strategies of Sedudo Waterfall, focusing on infrastructure, tourist attractions, local community empowerment, and tourism promotion.
This study employs a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques including in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentary studies. The findings indicate that effective development strategies include improving access infrastructure, sustainable management and development of tourist attractions, empowerment of the local community through skills training and development of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), as well as tourism promotion through social media utilization and collaboration with travel agents.
The implementation of these strategies is expected to increase tourist visits, positively impact the local economy, and maintain the environmental and cultural sustainability around Sedudo Waterfall. This research is expected to serve as a reference for sustainable tourism development in other areas with similar natural potentials.
