Abstract
The importance of work motivation in employees is highlighted, as it leads to a sense of loyalty and commitment towards the organization. However, when it comes to outsourced employees, who have different income and benefits compared to non-outsourced employees, turnover intention becomes a concern. This study aimed to investigate the relationship between work motivation and organizational commitment in outsourced employees at PT X. The research involved 161 subjects who were selected through a simple random sampling technique. The work motivation and organizational commitment scales were used as instruments, and the analysis employed the Pearson correlation test. The results revealed a positive correlation between work motivation and organizational commitment in outsourced employees at PT X. Notably, this study stands out by focusing on outsourced employees as subjects. One limitation of this study is that the two scales used in the research have similar meanings, which may have resulted in high correlation test results.
