ANALISIS FENOMENA GASLIGHTING DALAM HUBUNGAN PERTEMANAN PADA REMAJA AKHIR (Studi Fenomenologi)

Gaslighting is psychological manipulation that makes the victim feel guilty and trapped in an unreal relationship, even making the victim feel confused which can become a public spectacle. This research needs to be carried out with the aim of finding out what makes friendships continue when someone becomes a victim of psychological violence in this gaslighting phenomenon. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive phenomenological study approach. The data collection method uses semi-structured interviews. The subject criteria required in this research are victims of gaslighting behavior within the last 2 years in friendships in the form of group work activities and mobile legends games aged 18-21 years. The technique used in this research is purposive sampling. The phenomenological data analysis technique used in this research is a comprehensive analysis of the information that has been obtained. The results obtained in this research are love, empathy, self-doubt, and minimal relationships which are the reasons why someone continues to stay in friendship when they are the victim of gaslighting.
