Abstract
Target costing is a technique for determining a product's cost based on the price and profit that the company wants to make. With the use of target costing, it is anticipated that the business would be able to issue production costs more effectively, resulting in the achievement of the intended profit. The goal of this study is to evaluate La Tahzan Cafe and Roastery's production cost efficiency following the implementation of target costing.. According to calculations made using the target costing application in the this analysis, the total production total costs before using the target costing application have been Rp. 7,022,000, and then after implementation, those that have been Rp. 5,736,000. By using target costing, the business can minimize product cost by Rp. 1,286,000 & improving production efficiency.
