Abstract

Children are gifts from God Almighty who have full dignity. Previously, the public was shocked by the child who was the victim of the crime of sexual intercourse. It is surprising that the perpetrator is not a distant person, but the closest person to the victim or the victim's family, namely the biological father, stepfather or uncle of the victim. It is unfortunate considering that parents should provide protection and guidance to their children as perpetrators of crimes against their own children. The purpose of this study is to learn about the factors that cause sexual intercourse with children in the family environment, and the countermeasures taken by the police to prevent this crime of sexual intercourse from happening again. This type of research is a sociological juridical research with techniques such as interviews, documentation studies, literature studies. The results showed that the factors that caused sexual intercourse with children in the family are internal factors: divorce, lust, education, religion, and external factors, namely economics, law enforcement factors and culture. Meanwhile, the countermeasures carried out are providing counseling/socialization to the community about child protection so that they are more aware of crimes that occur to children, in addition to cooperating with networks from NGOs, P2TP2A (Integrated Service Center for Women and Children Empowerment) DP3A (Women's and Children's Empowerment Service). Child Protection), and the Social Service, which is obliged to provide assistance as regulated by law.
