Abstract

Illocution speech acts are acts of saying something with a certain intent and meaning. Perlocution speech acts are speech that aims to produce effects for speech partners. The show " Pagi-Pagi” contains discussion activities between Gita and Paul who talk about social issues that are packaged with a relaxed concept. This study aims to describe (1) the form of Illocution speech acts in the Pagi-Pagi on youtube channel Gita Savitri Devi, (2) the form of Perlocution speech acts in Pagi-Pagi on youtube channel Gita Savitri Devi. The method used in this study is a qualitative method as a research procedure that produces descriptive data in the form of speech. The source of data in this study is the speech contained in the study of illocution and perlocution speech acts in the Pagi-Pagi on the youtube channel Gita Savitri Devi which consists of 3 shows. The data found is processed through several steps, namely, (1) selecting data, (2) classifying data, (3) analyzing data, (4) conclusion and verification of data. This research is carried out through several processes, namely implementation, analysis and completion. Based on the results of the analysis of the discussion, it can be concluded that the form of illocution and perlocution speech acts in the ‘Pagi-Pagi’ show on the Gita Savitri Devi youtube channel was found to be illocution and perlocution speech acts. It was found that illocution speech acts consist of assertive speech acts, directive speech acts, expressive speech acts and commissive speech acts. Assertive illocution speech acts are used by speakers to connect with beliefs and facts that exist in their speech. Directive illocution speech acts have the power to influence the actions of the speech partner according to what the speaker wants. Expressive illocution speech acts refer to liking or disliking something. The act of expressive illocution speech aims to convey the expression of the speaker through speech. A commissive illocution speech act refers to an act that binds the speaker to some future action. The predominant form of illocution speech acts is assertive illocution speech acts. Perlocution speech acts consist of perlocution speech acts make the speech partner know that, persuade, make the speech partner do something, impress, distract, make the speech partner think about. Forms of speech acts that dominate perlocution is speech acts perlocution make speech partners know that.
