Abstract

The research has been conducted to evaluate the viability and the cellulolytic bacteria’s composition on the urea molasses mineral probiotic block (UMMPB) as a mn1inants feed additives. The research was conducted in Microbiology Laboratones of Medical Faculg and in Center of Biotechnology Development of Muhammadiyah University of Malang. Five periods of sampling 0, 30, 60, 90, 120 and 150 days of UMMPB were observed, including the viability and the composition of cellulolytic bacteria. The result showed that the number of colonies decreased from 10” (as the 0 day) to 10’ (on the 30 day), 10’ (on the 60 day), 10’ (on the 90 day), 10* (on the 120 day) and 10’ on the last observation. Only one isolate was obtain in UMMPB dan showed as Fibrobacter succinogenes characteristic.
