Abstract
Jargon constitutes one of the language varieties created due to heterogeneous speakers. Jargon is the distinctive language or specialized terminology used by a specific group or society to improve communication, give a way of bonding, and exclude outsiders. This research aim are (1) to find jargon used by Dish as a streamer in Genshin impact community, (2) and to classify its form and define the jargon found in her video content on her YouTube channel. This research employed qualitative design. The data were collected from Dish’s utterance in video content on her YouTube channel. The researcher was the primary instrument of this research who was supported by secondary instrument of document analysis. The result of the research showed that there was 58 jargon found in Dish utterances. The total number of jargon found can be classified into 6 forms: word, phrase, abbreviation, coinage, and blending. Furthermore, the researcher found 31 out of 58 jargon has no lexical meaning.
