Abstract
Illegal mining is rife and is often carried out so that it can have a big impact on conditions around the Bengawan Solo river. One of them is the heavy metal contamination of lead (Pb) in the waters of the Bengawan Solo river. This study aims to determine the concentration of heavy metal lead (Pb) in the meat of Tawes fish (Barbonymus gonionotus) in the Bengawan Solo River, Kanor District, Bojonegoro Regency. This research is a descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The samples in this study were Tawes fish meat (Barbonymus gonionotus) and water samples as supporting data obtained from the Bengawan Solo river. Fish sampling was carried out at 6 stations while for water samples only at 3 stations. Analysis of heavy metal test results on samples was carried out using Atomic Absorption Spectophotometry (AAS). The results obtained from the test of lead (Pb) in the sample will be compared with the threshold listed in the National Standardization Agency in 2009. The results showed that the metal content of lead (Pb) in the meat of Tawes fish (Barbonymus gonionotus) stations 1,2 and 3 no lead (Pb) was detected, while at stations 4,5 and 6 the weight was 16.33 mg/kg, 18.20 mg/kg and 19.75 mg/kg. Meanwhile, the heavy metal content of lead (Pb) in the samples at stations 4, 5 and 6 was water 2.57 mg/l, 4.36 mg/l and 3.64 mg/l. The results of the study can be used as a learning resource for SMA class X KD 3.10 to analyze data on environmental changes, the causes and impacts of these changes on the environment.
