Abstract

Well-being is something that every human being wants to achieve, because humans have hopes that can make life more meaningful. Employees have two different roles, namely in work and personal life, so they need to have a work-life balance. Employees who have work-life balance will manage time, involvement and energy, so employees can have high subjective well-being . This study aims to determine the effect of work-life balance on subjective well-being. This type of research is quantitative with a correlational design. The population of this study are employees at PT. South Kalimantan Regional Development Bank. The number of subjects was 274 people and used a sampling technique, namely Cluster Sampling. The scale used is the Work-life balance and Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS). Data analysis used multiple regression analysis. The results showed that there was a significant effect of work-life balance on subjective well-being with a percentage of 69.1%. Of the four dimensions of Work-life balance , there are three dimensions that have an effect, namely Work Interference with Personal Life, Personal Life Interference with Work and Personal Life Enhancement of Work and one dimension that has no effect, namely Work Enhancement of Personal Life. The higher 's work-life balance , the higher the level of subjective well-being employee, and vice versa.
