Abstract
The research aims in analysing the effect of various wastes of poultries toward the content of Nitrogen of liquid fertilizer. The liquid fertilizer was made of the waste of chicken, cow, and goat that are continuously given the mixture of Em4 to fasten the process of composting. This research was conducted from September 15 until September 30 2007 that located at the experimental cage of Faculty of Husbandry and Fishery at University of Muhammadiyah Malang. Furthermore, the research method used was Completely Random Design. The result showed Nitrogen of liquid fertilizer toward the treatment of P4 and P3 with the comparison of chicken waste : goat waste : chicken waste (1:1:2) and (1:2:1) was 2.64% and 2,4% This liquid fertilizer has fit the standard of organic fertilizer and the standard of market issued by PT PUSRI. The average of pH in this research was 7. It means that this liquid fertilizer met the requirement and was properly used as liquid fertilizer for plants. In short, various wastes of poultry influenced significantly (P<0.01) toward Nitrogen of liquid fertilizer, and it did influence signifiocantly (P>0.05) toward the value of pH of liquid fertilizer. The researcher suggested that the other researchers need to conduct another research toward Phosphor and Kalium.
