Abstract

The blended learning model is one of the innovations in the learning process in educational units so that during the Covid-19 virus spread, schools can still carry out the learning process without having to close schools. This study aims to describe the implementation of the blended learning learning model during the Covid-19 pandemic in the Al-Islam subject of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Panji Situbondo students and describe the obstacles and solutions to implementing the blended learning model during the Covid-19 pandemic in al-Islam subjects. students of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Panji Situbondo. The research approach used in this research is qualitative with the type of case study research. The subjects of this study were the school principal, XIth grade Al-Islam teacher, and several XIth grade students at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Panji Situbondo. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique uses four methods, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusions/verification. Checking the validity of the data using source triangulation, technical triangulation and time triangulation. Based on the researcher's findings, there are results that the blended learning mode applied to Al-Islam subjects at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Panji Situbondo class XI can be carried out in the current state of the Covid-19 pandemic but is not optimal when applied to normal situations. So that the blended learning model can be applied to certain situations not in normal situations. Although there are obstacles in the implementation of blended learning, all schools, subject teachers and students are able to handle these problems so that they do not interfere with the blended learning learning process at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Panji Situbondo on Al-Islam class XI subjects
