Abstract
The scarcity of water resources when entering the dry season causes many areas to be affected by drought. One of them is Jereweh sub-district, the West Sumbawa regency. Therefore, an effort is needed to meet the water demand of 1.18 l/s/ha, namely by planning a Jelenga Weir in the Jereweh sub-district, the West Sumbawa regency. Rainfall data that has been converted to water discharge data can be the basis for planning weir capacity. The Spillway Planning used is derived from the Nakayasu Synthetic Unit Hydrograph calculation. The weir body uses a pair type. It is carrying out the control of the stability of the safe building against hazardous conditions after obtaining the design of the weir construction. The analysis result shows that the planned flood discharge for the 50-year return period is 14,233 m3/s and the storage volume is 72,091.89 m3/s are at an elevation of +44.50 m which is used as the elevation of the spillway, the elevation of the floodwater level is +45.05 m, the riverbed elevation is + 34.00 m, the guard height is 1 m, the spillway height is 10.50 m, and the width is 15 m. The weir construction is stable toward the forces that occur in hazardous conditions.
