Abstract
Singkawang Selatan District has a surface water source that is not suitable for drinking. Existing surface water contains peat water which must go through a treatment process. This treatment aims to design a drinking water supply system in the Singkawang Selatan district that will work for the next 20 years with the planning of the installation unit and its network. Selakau river is used as source and channeled to intake, with analysis using the F.J. Mock method. Obtained reliable debit of 1,87 m3 / sec. Based on the calculation of the with a maximum water discharge requirement of 0.132m3 / sec. Simulation of distribution network development planning using the help of the EPANET program . From the network simulation the maximum speed is 2,10m / s < 4.50 m / s, minimum speed is 0.48m / sec > 0.30 m / sec, and a headloss is 8.89 m < 15 m, the pressure at the node point is obtained at the maximum value of 89,22 m < 100 m and the minimum water pressure is obtained at 14,67 m < 10 m.
