Abstract

Tulungagung Regency is a Regency in East Java Province that uses public transportation as one of the means of intercity transportation. As a public transport service provider, Perum DAMRI is the only public transportation service provider that has a direct route Tulungagung-Ponorogo. The applicable fares is Rp 15.000 on the route Tulungagung-Ponorogo. This study aims to determine Vehicle Operational Costs (VOC) by using the Ministry of Transportation method, as well as by using Ability to Pay (ATP) and Willingness to Pay (WTP) method. Data that has been processed, on weekdays obtained Vehicle Operational Costs (VOC) is Rp 13.529,79, based on Ability to Pay is Rp 16.919,41 Public category and Rp 12.589,98 Student category, based on Willingness to Pay is Rp 12.212,10 Public category and Rp 6.166,67 Student category. And for weekends obtained Vehicle Operational Costs (VOC) is Rp 13.529,79, based on Ability to Pay is Rp 16.243,89 Public category and Rp 15.263,16 Student category, based on Willingness to Pay is Rp 9.146,03 Public category and Rp 7.428,57 Student category. The result of this research can be considered by relevant agencies in fares adjusment by reviewing the route passed and the facilities that have been provided.
