Abstract
Background: Antenatal Care (ANC) is an attempt that can help declining maternal death rate in Indonesia. ANC goal is to detecting any lead-to-death conditions in maternal, so it can be avoided and taken care of earlier. Reasons of maternal death mostly about diseases that should’ve been detected earlier so it doesn’t lead to maternal death, that’s why ANC have important role in declining maternal death rate. Improving ANC utiliziation can be done by interfering any associated factors of ANC utilization. One of those factors is maternal knowledge about the importance of ANC visit and its benefits. Knowledge about hepatitis b and how to avoid the infection by using ANC services is part of knowledge about importance of ANC visits. Objective: This research was aimed to knowing about correlation maternal knowledge of hepatitis b infection and Antenatal Care (ANC) visit Methods: Literature review method. References taken from 2 textbook that published from last 10 years and 31 scopus Q1-Q2 indexed and sinta accredited journals that published from last 5 years Results: The results of the analysis showed that there is correlation in maternal knowledge of hepatitis b infection and Antenatal Care (ANC) visit. There’s at least 3 journal articles that showed knowledge of hepatitis b infection can lead people to doing any method that they can do to avoid transmission of this infection, which one of them is ANC. Other researchs reported different result, even ANC visit was higher in some region, it is not accompanied by higher maternal knowledge of hepatitis b infection. Conclusion: There is correlation maternal knowledge of hepatitis b infection and Antenatal Care (ANC) visit
