Abstract

Adlina, Anifa. 2021. Effectiveness Of The Frayer Model To Improve The Understanding Of Arabic Vocabulary For Grade VII Student At SMP Islam 2 Pujon, thesis: Arabic Language Education Study Program, Faculty of Islam Studies, University of Muhammadiyah Malang. Advisor: Mochammad Firdaus, B,Ed., M.Ed. and Dr. Achmad Tito Rusady, SS., M.Pd. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the frayer model to improve the understanding of arabic vocabulary for grade VII student at SMP Islam 2 Pujon. The frayer model is one f the solutions given to improve vocabulary including arabic vocabulary. This study uses a quantitative approach. The subjects used were grade VII student at SMP Islam 2 Pujon with a total sample of 30 students. The results of research on the effectiveness of the frayer model in improving the understanding of arabic vocabulary for grade VII students at SMP Islam 2 Pujon were effective. This can be seen from the pretest and posttest result which show significant result. Evidenced by the paired sample T test, with a sig. (2-tailed) amounting of 0,000 then the value of Sig can be seen that H_0 is rejected and H_a is accepted so that there is a difference between the pretest and posttest scores carried ou. In addition, it can also be seen from the N-Gain value is 40,55, which can be categorized as moderae. Arabic vocabulary for grade VII student at SMP Islam 2 Pujon.
