Abstract

Based on the results of interviews and observations that took place at SDN Kanigoro 03, it can be concluded that learning in class V requires supporting materials so that the learning process can be maximized. The existence of a Smart Bigbook which is packaged according to student needs refers to the applicable curriculum so that it can create meaningful learning in every activity undertaken so that it can be used as a learning resource. This study uses the R&D (Research and Development) research method, namely the product developed in the form of Smart Bigbook teaching materials. While the research model uses the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The results showed that the validation of the material was 79.5% very feasible, the validation of teaching materials was 95.8%, the category was feasible without revision, the student response questionnaire got 94.5% very interesting category, and the teacher questionnaire got a percentage of 82.5% very good. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the Smart Bigbook teaching materials are very suitable for use as learning materials for fifth grade elementary school students
