Supervision as one of the functional tasks of the Sumenep Regency DPRD is an important part in realizing good governance, including the construction of road infrastructure in Sumenep Regency. The Sumenep Regency DPRD is present by carrying out the mandate of the community in the region to ensure that the construction of the highway runs well, so that roads Raya can have a good impact on community activities, as well as the economy of the people of Sumenep. This research aims to analyze the supervision carried out by the Sumenep Regency DPRD Commission III regarding the construction of road infrastructure in Sumenep Regency in 2021. The research method uses qualitative with a descriptive approach where data collection techniques are through documentation, interviews and observations to explain the facts clearly. . The results of the research show that supervision of the construction of Sumenep Regency's highway infrastructure in 2021, especially those that are problems in the community, has been carried out actively, such as asking third parties and executives for information regarding problems complained about by the community, carrying out field monitoring and providing recommendations for improvement if discrepancies or problems are found. during development. It is hoped that this research can provide a better understanding of the supervisory function of the Sumenep Regency DPRD regarding road infrastructure development and provide input for related parties in improving the development process in the future. Apart from that, this research can also be a reference for further research related to monitoring road infrastructure development and other related topics.
