Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Conflict (X1) and Work Stress variables (X2) on Employee Performance (Y) in the Probolinggo City National Land Agency (BPN), both partially and simultaneously. The data analysis method used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis used to determine the direct and indirect effects of the Conflict variable (X1) and the Job Stress variable (X2) on the Employee Performance dependent variable (Y). This research was conducted at the Probolinggo City National Land Agency (BPN) by distributing questionnaires to 40 respondents. The sampling technique used was using proportional random sampling techniques and hypothesis testing techniques using the F Test technique and T test with SPSS version 22. The results of this study simultaneously showed Fcount 22.027> Ftable 3.25 which had a negative and significant effect. The effect of the X1 variable on the Y variable shows a negative and insignificant influence, this is indicated by the t-count of -2.304 <ttable 2.333. The effect of variable X2 on Y shows a negative and significant effect, this is indicated by the t-value of -5.873> t table 2.333.
