Abstract

Literary work is one of the media to see and describe a problem that occurs like a power hegemony, including the Okky Madasari Entrok novel. Dissociative identity disorder is a psychiatric problem of someone who has two or more different personalities. The problems in this study are (1) how is the manifestation of power hegemony in Okky Madasari's Entrok novel, (2) how is the disclosure of the power hegemony channel in Okky Madasari's Entrok novel The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method using the sociological approach to literature. The data in this study are in the form of a unit of story, monologue of figures and fragments of sentences in the dialogue of figures related to the hegemony of power. The source of data in this study is the Entrok by Okky Madasari published by PT Gramedia Pustaka Utama in April 2010. Techniques for analyzing the data in this study are (1) data reduction, (2) data presentation and (3) data verification. From the results of the analysis and discussion, it was concluded that the power hegemony in the Okrok Madasari Entrok novel, concerning (1) form is divided into two regions, namely the territory of the political community and the area of ​​civil society. In the area of ​​civil society, namely leaders in full power, unilateral decision-making and opposition began to emerge. With the domination of Commander Sumadi's treatment to the people who were subjected to the acts of hegemony. While the form of hegemony in the area of ​​political society there is a pattern of hegemony in the scope of civil society, including regulating techniques where maintaining power, giving threats to subordinates, arranging ways to get rid of opponents and surrender to the authorities. (2) Disclosure of channels of power hegemony Includes four channels of power This is indicated by data that tells of fear, fear of someone that raises a compliance with willingness and actions that are feared, this is indicated by data that tells Marni and Rahayu to fear army and government. Love where he did not realize that being a coolie to help Marni whatever the problem faced by Marni resulted in positive actions. The belief that Marni always prayed and wished to Mbah Mother Earth Father the power that always granted her request. Finally, the cult where Marni performed worship in Gunung Kawi to worship Eyang Sujo and Eyang Jugo to offer hope for prosperity and glory.
