Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of job satisfaction, competence and knowledge sharing and analyze the effect of competence on job satisfaction with knowledge sharing as a mediating variable. This research was conducted at the Lamongan Regency National and Political Unity Agency with a sample size of 54 respondents. The type of research used is explanatory research with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique in this study was total sampling. Data collection using questionnaire distribution. The data analysis method used is the scale range and path analysis assisted by SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results of the study indicate that competence has a significant effect on job satisfaction, competence has a significant effect on knowledge sharing, knoledge sharing has a significant effect on job satisfaction and knowledge sharing does not mediate the effect of competence on job satisfaction.
