Abstract
The research was cluster analsyis to the furniture industry in Pasuruan City which describe workforce, product, investment and furniture industrial development model through cluster approach. The research aimed to find out about furniture industry sector potential in developing their business unit also increasing economic and solving the jobless problem in Pasuruan. The method used was explaining datas through sentences from relevant sources. The research showed that Pasuruan City, with farm based with household craft supported by various service sector economic for people economy has prospective potential. Economic in wood craft / furniture for Pasuruan City was a Leading Sector. It showed that furniture sector has enough contribution for society and regional income of Pasuruan City. It also developed the small business unit which increasing work-chance for regional people. According to the data above, the writer suggest that local policy through small and middle unit industries with household craft should be strengthen through quality and product model. Regional development policy through development model with cluster approach in choosing prior product should be involved wide relationship whihc was stated according to more accurate analysis. There hoped that market development stated for each product in Pasuruan to give more measurement of production development strategy and product processing. Capacity strengthen and economic institution aspect should be developed to minimize poverty trap. Model in economic development in a region should be done as the analysis to the production specialization and supporting industries.
