Abstract
This research is a case study on PT. GAP Pancanaka in Malang, entitled "Implementation of Just In Time (JIT) as a Raw Material Inventory System on Real Estate Company. (Case Study at PT. Pancanaka GAP in Malang ". The underlying reasons for doing this research is that kind of raw material in quite a lot of real estate company, to be ordered from several suppliers according to the needs of building production. Traditional inventory system that is commonly used manufacturing company previously had a greater risk of loss, in this case because the company did stock inventory that could result in supply will be damaged or lost. While the system just in time (JIT), inventory ordered in accordance with the amount needed and at the right time. The purpose of this research is to assist companies to use raw materials inventory system right in controlling costs of production. The analysis used is by calculating the raw material usage per day and maximum ordering frequency can know the amount of charge before the application of JIT and after JIT implementation. This analysis is performed only on ten kinds of raw materials only. The calculations show that only five of the ten raw materials that can be applied investigated JIT system, and five other materials can be applied but is not efficient for the company. Based on the above conclusions, the writer can implicate the company should begin implementing JIT systems for materials that can be applied system. This is caused by the application of JIT on raw materials inventory system in real estate companies have an impact on the efficiency of the ordering cost of raw materials affects the cost of production, besides using JIT inventory that was ordered came on the amount and timing.
