Abstract
In the first sequel of Kawin Kontrak has focused more on the sexual comedy, yet there area religious and humanity messages. These elements would be lifted in this study. The frequency of religious and moral messages seen in the Kawin Kontrak I would be studied further. Movie is the communication media built in the form of messages deliveries through moving objects produced by camera technology, lighting, color and sound. These elements created through the background of the story that would be communicated, the director. How are the combination of objects, sounds, colors, angles and music, how are the scenes combined one to another together with the related symbols, bring to the viewers will be determined by the director (Susanto 1976). The content analysis is a method to observe and to measure the communication content. This method frequently used to determine the relative pressure or frequency of the occurrence and several kinds of communication symtoms: propagandas, tendencies, styles, content changes and readability (Don M Flournoy 1986, p. 12). In this study, the author used content analysis. The collected data filled in the table to explain the frequency of occurrences of the religious and humanity messages. The results would be described every sub-categories. Then, the data would be counted using the predetermined formulas. Shots used as unit analysis and would be narrow down to the related category. The measurement unit of this study is seconds/time code duration in every shot taken occurred in the movie by using stopwatch. Documentation used as the data collection technique to classify the notes, documents, and then the classified data will be put in the determined category by using coding examination papers. The author found that, the Faith as the them category, the occurrence frequency on the non verbal expressions toward the faith of Allah was 2 times (2.86%), and the faith of Holy Books was two times (2.86%), whereas the frequency of occurrences of the verbal expressions toward the faith of Allah was once (1.43%), and the indicator to believe in the destiny was once (1.43%). Social category in terms of Ta’awun indicators has occurred four times (5.72%) to the non-verbal expression and mission indicator, the verbal expression occurred two times (2.86%). The moral and good values of Saja’ah indicators appeared twice (2.86%) for the non-verbal expression, the Tawakal indicator appeared once (1.43%), Saja’ah once (1.43%), honesty three times (4.29%). The formal categories on non-verbal expression were once (1.43% and once for verbal expression (1.43%), whereas the informal indicators have occurred three times (4.29%) for verbal expression.
