INTEGRASI CRPD DALAM REGULASI NASIONAL INDONESIA

People with disabilities often experience discriminatory treatment in various fields, such as public services, politics, health, education, employment, and others as well as obstacles, restrictions, reductions, and even removal of rights. Therefore, Indonesia legitimized the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities into domestic policy on disability. This research wants to see the extent to which national regulations on the rights of persons with disabilities in the aspect of employment refer to the CRPD and Law No. 8 of 2016 concerning Persons with Disabilities. This research uses descriptive qualitative research using the content analysis method and through articles, journals, official websites, and resource person interviews in collecting information. The results show that the Government of Indonesia is working hard to ratify the CRPD and pass the Draft Law on Persons with Disabilities to officially bind itself to international agreements so that the government is obliged to update or adjust all national and regional laws. However, several factors hinder the formation of regulations and their implementation up to the level of local regulations, making discriminatory behavior still common. So it can be concluded that until now the implementation of the rights of persons with disabilities, especially labor rights in Indonesian regulations, has not been maximized because the CRPD has not been thoroughly integrated up to the level of regional regulations.
