Abstract
In this era, many phenomena of moral diverged are found, not only in adults but also in elementary school age children. It shows a moral degraelation phenomena in elementary school age children due to the lack of optimal moral development of children. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of traditional games (congklak lidi and bentengan) by experiential learning method on the moral development of elementary school age children. The number of subjects in this study were 24 elementary school students using purposive sampling. This technique study was an experimental study using the control group pre-test post-test design. The instrument used was scale of moral development in late age children. The results showed an increase in the scale of moral development scores (Z = -2,014; p = 0,044 <0,05). Thus, it can be concluded that traditional games (congklak lidi and bentengan) with experiential learning method can be used to improve moral development in elementary school-age children.
