Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of compensation and job stress on employee job satisfaction using SPSS version 29 analysis tool. The type of survey used in this study was quantitative, the sample size was 94 respondents, and the technique used was saturated sampling. The research data was collected through a questionnaire in the form of a google form link distributed to the Secretariat of the Regional People's Representative Council of East Kotawaringin Regency. The findings of the study indicate compensation has a positive impact and significantly affects the level of satisfaction at work. Job stress has a positive and significant impact on the level of job satisfaction. Job stress has a more dominant positive and significant effect on job satisfaction.
