Abstract

This research describes open door policy’s impact toward Turkey. The open door policy which is implemented by Turkey is related to the policy in order to manage and solve the refugee crisis caused by Syirian conflict. In this research a concept that is used to explain this research is open borders. Open borders concept explains how a state is not only giving an access for refugee or migrants to pass the borders, but also allowing refugees or migrantsto access and participate in the society, giving a permission to work, and allowed to stay and settle. Open borders concept will give a view on how open door policy is applied by Turkey and also the impact of open door policy itself. This research uses a descriptive method, inductive data as an analysis technique, and library research as a techcnique to collect the data. The result of this research shows some impacts of open door policy implemented by Turkey in accepting refugee in large scale of its country, the impacts consist of sosial and economic impact with political and security impact.
