Abstract

PT. PLN (Persero) APJ Malang is a company of electric current of electric distribution from middle electric circuitry, low electric circuitry until service to the customer house. In this time available electrics supply in Malang is very limited. While to build new generating machine require big fund and long time about 10 years. For that's, very important to be apply the existence of economical of electrics. In consequence of mentioned limited electrics supply, public relation of PT. PLN (Pesero) APJ Malang doing economical program of electrics 05.00pm­12.00 am and economical program of energy DSM ( Demand Side Management). Both of the program is major thrift of usage of electrics as inexistence effort extinction of have innings to remember limitation of electrics supply in Malang. PT. PLN (Persero) APJ Malang is one of the governmental institutions which do activity of socialization in order to economical program success of electrics as effort economical of electrics. From that background, this research aim to know how is the socialization process done by public relation of PT. PLN (Persero) APJ Malang in apply economical program of electrics in Malang and what is economical program of electrics done by public relation of PT. PLN (Persero) APJ Malang doing effectively. This research indicate that mindful of limitation of electrics supply in Malang must be done by PT. PLN (Persero) APJ Malang doing policy of economical of electrics by economical program of energy DSM (Demand Side Management) with industry side as special target of the program and economical program of electrics 05.00 pm­10.00 pm with household side as target the core important. To know effectiveness activity of public relation of PT. PLN (Persero) APJ Malang, this research is aimed to explore and classification phenomenon to describe a number of accurate by variable that is socialization done by public relation of PT. PLN (Persero) APJ Malang and to know the result of that socialization done effectively or not, so this research use descriptive research type with data qualitative. And form dig of data in this research in the form of documentation and interview. The conclusion of this research that program of DSM (Demand Side Management) in execution of doing socialization during three years is not effective. This matter is marked with condition from year to year progressively mount there is no degradation. Besides amount of purchasing of energy also from year to year increasing automatically the amount of usage of energy also progressively mount this matter become evidence of no success program of DSM in Malang. Industry side as special target of that program not give positive respond program that done by PT. PLN (Persero) APJ Malang. While economical program of electrics 05.00 pm­10.00 pm which done in a year to process of socialization effectively. This matter is marked without of extinction globally remember energy reserve which is minim of PT. PLN (Persero) APJ Malang never doing extinction of have innings. Household side as target the core important conscious is important of economical him to electrics. If extinct electrics hence they cannot doing activity. From here, so PT. PLN (Persero) APJ Malang always perform socialization and also create goodcommunications with the customer of electrics generally and also special to industry side as amount of usage of energy to do economical of electrics for the important to all of user
