Abstract
Dysmenorrhea happens to majority of adolescence during their menstrual period. This can disturb adolescence’s activity, especially in learning process as students, which is listening and memory. The purpose of the research is to find out the influence of dysmenorrheal in listening and memory. The advantage of this research is that we able to give information about the exact intervention to support learning process when dysmenorrhea happens. The research design used descriptive correlation with cross sectional approaches. Research population were 96 students at SMU Negeri 1 Gresik using questionnaire and New Learning Ability memory test. Data analysis used was Mann Whitney test with ordinal scale data. Research showed that in listening process 36,5 % respondents had good, 31,3 % had medium, and 32,3 % had low. While 18,8 % respondents had good , 46,9 % had medium and 34,4 % had low in memory process. The result of data analysis was that dysmenorrheal influence the listening and memory learning process (pvalue = 0,000, correlation coefficient 0,479 for listening and 0,424 for memory).
