Abstract

CAMEL and Altman approach (Empirical Study to Banking Companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange 2005-2008 periods)" (Researcher, Advisor I, Advisor II) Company performance analysis result using CAMEL in 2005-2008 period found 1 company had good performance category and 10 companies had bad performance category, from all ratio. Analysis used ALTMAN method resulted 3 companies had good performance and 8 companies had bad category performance, from all ratio perspective. Comparison analysis result using CAMEL method and ALTMAN method showed that the bad ratio from CAMEL method was BOPO. While the bad ratio from ALTMAN method was X2 ratio (hold profit/total asset). So that the both method used were proven.
