Abstract
Bribery case currently is ingrained from upper middle class until the middle of this thing brings down bad impact to the nation Indonesi. This study mengambi formulation of the problem: 1. Anything what factors that cause the bus crew committed to pay bribes to local police at the port of Gilimanuk? 2. How forms of bribery acts carried out the bus crew to local police at the port of Gilimanuk? 3. How did the crew handling bribes to local police bus in the port of Gilimanuk? This study uses sociological juridical approach, data collection techniques such as interviews, observation, documentation by respondents or sample from the population of a bus conductor and the police and the chief port of Gilimanuk, then the results were analyzed descriptively and qualitatively. Of the 10 respondents that his job as a bus crew can be seen in making bribes in the form of giving money sebear USD 5000 - USD 20 000, driven by internal and external factors such as economic conditions, lack of knowledge about hukumuidak knowledge about the law, education is weak, and the status soaial in society. Consequence bribes are criminal acts carried out because of social status that is where the bus crew to bribe because they want to live well like other people in general and want to enjoy life affluent individuals. All the prevention and control conducted by the head of the harbor in the form of installation of CCTV to menanngkap and demotions made by the Regent of Jembrana, not any results because hngga bear one is still just the bribery offenses against police officers at the port of Gilimanuk Keywords: Crime, Bribery, Police officers
