KOMBINASI TERAPI KOMPRES AIR HANGAT DAN RANGE OF MOTION (ROM) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEKUATAN OTOT PADA PASIEN CEREBRO VASCULAR ACCIDENT INFARK

Background : CVA infark or stroke ischemic is a stroke that occurs as a result of a blockage in certain brain blood vessels which results in the area of the brain that is supplied by these blood vessels not getting a supply of energy and oxygen, causing brain cells in that area to die and not function. The most common symptom in stroke survivors is sudden weakness on one side of the body. One of the interventions that can be given for these symptoms is range of motion therapy and warm water compresses.
Purpose : To analyze the intervention of giving Range Of Motion (ROM) therapy and warm water compresses to increase muscle strength in CVA Infark patients.
Metode : In this case study the researcher uses a quantitative descriptive analysis technique by focusing on the problem which is then carried out by actual problem solving. For the research sample method using purposive sampling.
Results : Before the intervention the client experienced impaired physical mobility due to decreased muscle strength. The results after the researcher gave the therapeutic intervention Range of Motion and warm compresses showed an increase in muscle strength in clients who experienced weakness.
