Abstract
A woman in the world faces being marginalized because of her culture. One of
cultural barrier occurs in traveling as in globalization the human interaction
could not be denied. Consequently a woman should overcome it. One of the
cultural barriers in traveling is a companion that a woman must be accompanied
by her family. This one is obstacle for a woman but also symbol of tyranny so that
is why she struggles to deconstruct the companion in traveling.
