Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the development of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) in each sector, analyze utilization patterns and economic structure, analyze basis and non-basis sectors, and analyze potential sector shifts in Nganjuk Regency with 5 years from 2018-2022. The research methods used were Location Quoetient, Klassen typology, and Shift Share using secondary data sourced from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of Nganjuk Regency and East Java province. The results of this study based on the Location Quotient Analysis tool found that the basis economic sector with the highest value is in the Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries sectors, and for non-basis sectors with the lowest value is the electricity and Gas procurement sector. The results of Klassen typology analysis showed the results of 2 sectors in Quadrant I, 6 sectors in Quadrant II, 6 sectors in Quadrant III, and 3 sectors in Quadrant IV. The results of the analysis on the Shift Share show an increase in the performance of the economic sector of Nganjuk Regency and 8 business field sectors included in the classification of positive competitive advantages. The results of the analysis of Location Quotient, Klassen typology, and Shift Share that show the leading sectors of Nganjuk Regency in 2018-2022 are the Agricultural, Forestry, and fisheries sectors, the Agricultural, Forestry, and fisheries sectors, and the processing industry sectors.
