Abstract

Adolescence is an important period in an individual's life. To support their development, good family support is needed so that teenagers have good resilience do not fall into juvenile delinquency, and avoid psychological disorders. The completeness of parents is also an important factor in adolescent development. It becomes different if a teenager lives with a single parent. Teenagers with single parents lose one of their parental roles, and the effects of this loss make it difficult for teenagers to regulate emotions, become easily angry, and have other negative feelings. Therefore, teenagers need full support from the family. This research focuses on the resilience abilities of teenagers in single parents with high school teenage subjects who were measured using resilience measuring instruments and family support with a total of 150 subjects using a quantitative research design and the sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The measuring instruments used are The Resilience Scale (R-14) and the CASSS scale (Child and Adolescent Social Support Scale). This research used a linear regression analysis test which resulted in a significance value (p) of 0.000 <0.05, which indicates the influence of family support on the resilience of teenagers with single parents.
