Heat tranducer is a most effective method for solar radiation measurement. The aim of this research, is a development of build a sun radiation intensity tool measurement by using thermal sensor. The principle of the measurement is the black body radiation. It is ensure that the solar radiation proportionally related to the increasing temperature of the black body. A glass dome is used to collect the sun radiation that will be measured. Because of glass refractive indices greater than air refractive indices, high amount of sun radiation which comes to the glass dome will be deflected into the center. NTC thermistor (Negative Temperature Coefficient) is used to measure increasing temperature caused by collected solar radiation. Two NTC sensor are used in the design. The first sensor, Rt₁ is used to sense the temperature which is collected by the glass dome, and positioned in the hot spot. The second sensor, Rt₂ positioned in the cold spot as compensator to environment temperature. To measure the temperature change, bridge circuit is applied in the design. Good conformity between the development and reference sun radiation intensity tool found at narrow zenith angle.
