Abstract
Public Transport (Bus Patas) route Probolinggo - Malang by type of vehicle is a Mercedes-benz, seating capacity of 41 seats and are equipped with air conditioning, comfort, safety, and timeliness. Rates that are currently used by Rp. 17000.00 / passenger, was taken based on the fuel price increase on 1 September 2005. Are the current rates are in accordance with the operational costs incurred by the company otobus. The analysis in this study aims to find out how much the operating costs of vehicles on the Bus Patas. The method used in this evaluation is the method of the Ministry of Transportation Directorate General of Land Transportation (Technical Guidelines for Implementation of Public Passenger Transport in Urban Areas of Fixed Route and Regular) 1996. And from the calculation of vehicle operating costs are known in Patas buses Rp. 1,370,230.00 / vehicle / hari.Untuk known base rate of Rp. 16500.00 / passenger.
