Abstract
Reinforced concrete is a mixture of concrete and steel reinforcement, where the concrete obtained from mixing the ingredients of fine and coarse aggregate namely sand, stone, crushed stone, by adding just enough adhesive cement, and water as auxiliary material for purposes of chemical reactions during hardening process and maintenance of concrete progress. The advantages of concrete is concrete compressive strength value is relatively high compared with its tensile strength. Strong value appeal only around 9% - 15% of compressive strength. While reinforcing steel is a material that can withstand tensile forces and the duty to replace concrete tensile region. The combination of concrete and steel reinforcement can work well because: 1. Perfect bond between steel reinforcement rods in concrete hard wrap it so it does not happen derailment between the two. 2. Concrete surrounding the steel reinforcing rods that are resistant able to protect and prevent corrosion of steel. 3. The coefficient of expansion due to temperature is almost equal between the concrete and steel. 2 A concrete structure consists of the top construction and construction bottom. Construction consists of the top of the roof construction, floor plate, parent and child beams, columns, and walls. Burden - the burden is transferred from the beam - beam into the main column before finally forwarded to the foundation as a construction bottom. In the bottom of the planned construction planning foundation piling. The use of piles used for a building if the base soil underneath it does not have the carrying capacity (bearing capacity) is sufficient to carry the weight of the building and the load, or if hard ground which has a bearing capacity sufficient to carry the weight building and the burden lies very deep (Ir. Sardjono.HS, 1991). In this final settlement of the reviewed studies is the location Mosque development of Ternate.
