Abstract

Use high beams on construction more widely used, but usage and its use is only designed to use only minimum reinforcement for flexural reinforcement and shear reinforcement. At high beam propagation crack, crack pattern and crack width that occurs is different from ordinary beam. This study will look at how big the influence of reinforcement gesar, additional reinforcement for, and the difference of shear span and effective depth (a / d) against a long crack, cracked beam and crack patterns. The samples used are box-sized (130x450x1500) mm by 20 blocks with varied penuh.Variabel scale is the direction of vertical shear reinforcement, point loading and the amount of reinforcement for. The specimens of quality reinforced concrete fc = 34 MPa and fy = 308MPa to 6mm diameter and 384Mpa to a diameter of 10 The test results with a point load on the vertical cross bar with a reinforcement to indicate the narrowing of 32.5% crack, crack shortening of 30.43% and 81.25% narrowing of the crack, for two reinforcement for the lead. Changes in transverse direction from vertical to oblique fracture causes narrowing of 72.5% and 5.5% shortening of the crack. The reinforcement for the high beam oblique transverse cracks caused constriction of 54.55% and 27.27% for crack extension. The addition of a reinforcement for the change in direction of vertical shear reinforcement to be tilted with a slope of 45 ° causes the narrowing crack by 59.26% and crack extension at 6.82%. At high beam test with two point loads for the addition of a reinforcement stirrup causes the shortening of the vertical crack of 22:43%, while the addition of two vertical bars for the transverse cracks caused shortening of 14.29%. Changes in transverse direction from vertical to tilt causes shortening of cracks of 5.5%. The addition of reinforcement to the cross bar and change of direction causes the extension of cracks at 16:04%. The addition of transverse reinforcement for the tilt causes the extension of cracks at 2.83%. The pattern of cracking on the high beams are influenced by the load and load placement (a / d). The larger a / d, crack pattern will change from Prism Type of Fan Type and finally headed toward Bottle Type.
