Abstract
LASBUTAG (loamy Buton Asphalt Layer) is a mixture of ingredients asbuton, modifiers and additional aggregate that can be used as a pavement material. To obtain a good quality of mix required modifier to improve the weaknesses that are owned by asbuton which is one of mixed materials from LASBUTAG. Based on test results Used Oil is one type of heavy oil that can be used as a modifier. This study aims to determine the quality mix with pavement LASBUTAG hotmix system using a modifier used oil is varied. Research conducted at the Laboratory of Highway Muhammadiyah University of Malang. Quality mix with pavement LASBUTAG use of this modifier used oil can be known through the Marshall test results (stability, flow plastically, the results for Marshall, and VIM. Asbuton which used type of B-20. modifier used was the vehicle used oil and oil bitumen using a variation of 3%, 3.2%, 3.4%, 3.6%, 3.8%, 4% with a composition of 70% Asmin 30% used oil, 65% 35% Asmin used oil, and 60% Asmin 40 % oils. It was found that the use of modifier used oil to give effect to mix with pavement LASBUTAG hotmix system, this is known bedasarkan dapt hypothesis test of the Marshall test, while the use of the best modifier of research based on the specification of Bina Marga to LASBUTAG pavement mixture for high traffic according to Marshall test results are mixed by using modifier composition modifiernya 3.6% where 65% and 35% petroleum asphalt used oil.
