Abstract

In this digital era, communication is of utmost importance in human life. However, some individuals face difficulties in proper communication, requiring a mediator to overcome these challenges. This leads to a social gap between those who understand sign language and those who cannot. Akrab serves as a solution to bridge and facilitate social interactions and information exchange among individuals. User experience plays a crucial role in ensuring comfortable interactions, making it a vital component. Therefore, it is necessary to measure user experience and usability to improve the application's quality. This research focuses on testing the user experience and usability of Akrab. The System Usability Scale and User Experience Questionnaire are used as research methods to assess usability and user experience. The results indicate that both methods yielded positive evaluations; however, they have not reached the level of perfection and require improvements based on the provided recommendations.
