PERAN PEMERINTAH DESA DALAM MENINGKATKAN PARTISIPASI MASYARAKAT UNTUK PEMBANGUNAN EKONOMI DI DESA ORO ORO OMBO KOTA BATU

Given the importance of the village government's role in terms of development, both physical and non-physical in Oro Oro Ombo Village, Batu City, it is necessary to have real work carried out by the village government in terms of development, especially in the field of village economic development. Besides that, cooperation between village officials and the community is also needed. That's why the village government must play an optimal role in increasing development in the field of village economic development in Oro Oro Ombo Village, Batu City. Where this study uses a qualitative descriptive method, which has two sources, including primary and secondary data sources. Research data obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. The subjects in this study were the Village Head and the Village Secretary at the Oro Oro Ombo Village Office, Batu City. The analysis technique used in this study has several stages including: a) data reduction. b) presentation of data, and c) verification or drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the role of the village government can greatly influence how the community participates in village economic development, in which many Oro Oro Ombo village people have now begun to participate in participating in economic development in the village. Meanwhile, the village government's efforts to increase community participation for economic development are, 1) by providing guidance to the community in the economic field, 2) developing community capacity. Where the government also utilizes the supporting factors that exist in their village.
