Abstract

Technology for booking train tickets. One type of service provided by the state to its people is transportation services, including trains. The number of users of rail transportation services continues to increase every year. The E-Ticket Train Booking application is an online ticket ordering application. The E-Ticket Train Booking application aims to make it easier for consumers to make purchases. The aim of this research is to design, determine and analyze the factors that influence consumer behavior in their decision to buy train tickets using conventional methods and to determine the effectiveness of the E-Ticket Train Booking application by these consumers. This research design uses the research used is UX Jouney. The population in this research is consumers with 5 participants. The research was conducted using interviews, observation and literature study methods. The results of the interviews were data reduced, presented and conclusions drawn. Research found 3 factors that influence consumer behavior in their decision to buy tickets using conventional methods and the results of the perception of all consumers who assess and choose to buy tickets conventionally is better, it can be concluded and developed: the E-Ticket Train Booking application has not been effectively used by consumers who still buy tickets directly at the station counter. It is hoped that developers can continue to maintain and improve features that have been rated positively by persona.
