Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of population, unemployment and education level on economic growth in Java Island Province. The research used is quantitative research with multiple linear regression analysis methods. The data used in this research is secondary data which is a combination of cross section data from 6 provinces on the island of Java and time series data for 2013-2022. In this research, the tests used were the CE, FE, RE, Chow, Hausman, LM Breusch-Pagan tests. And the best model is Random Effect. The results of this research show that population size and education level have a positive and significant influence on economic growth on the island of Java. Meanwhile, the number of unemployed has a negative and significant influence on economic growth on the island of Java.
