Abstract

Based on the results of the analysis of the needs of fourth grade students at Karangbesuki 1 Elementary School, they still have difficulty understanding the parts of plants and their functions and learning process tends to be less interesting and boring. This is shown by the presence of fourth grand students at Karangbesuki 1 Elementary School who are still confused in determining and distinguishing the parts of plants and their funcions, because the media and teaching materials used only use LKPD, student books and facilities and infrastructure are adequate for using interactive multimedia. So from this problem it is necessary to develop interactive multimedia based on educational games on the material of plant parts and their functions. The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of interactive multimedia based on educational games on plant parts and tehir funcions for fourth grade elementary school student.
This research uses the ADDIE research model, which has five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. This research was carried out at SDN Karangbesuki 1 with the research subjects being 16 grade IV elementary school student. Using data collection techniques in the form of observation, interview, questionnaries, and dokumentation. This research uses qulitatative and quantitative data analysis techniques.
This research resulted in the development of educational gam based interctive multimedia products on plan parts and tehir funcions for fourth grade elementary school student which have several feature, namely competency menu, study menu, play menu, evaluation questions menu, and profile menu. The feasibility of educational game based interctive multimedia was adapted from the result of he validation percentage of material experts by 92.8% and media experts by 88%. The effectiveness is obtained from the N-Gain effectiveness test which gets a score of 0,79, the presentation obtained from the student response results is 95% and the teacher’s is 91%. From the results of this presentation it can be concluded that the development of interactive multimedia based on educational games on plant parts and their functions for fourth grade elementary school students is effective and feasible to help the learning process.
