Abstract

The decline in forest productivity can be seen from the reduction in nutrients in forest soil, this occurs because nutrients are stored by biomass (vegetation) above the ground due to the closed cycle of nutrients and also nutrients are continuously taken from the soil in large quantities through harvesting and cleaning while input Micro nutrients returning to the soil are low, causing nutrient deficiencies. This research is about the balance of the micro nutrient content of Iron (Fe), Zinc (Zn), Manganese (Mn), and Boron (B) in the 12G RPH Rejosari BKPH Sengguruh KPH Malang plot with the aim of knowing the balance of micro nutrients in the 12G plot. Data analysis uses the DRIS method(Diagnosis Recomedation Intregated System) using the Minitab 16 tool. Samples taken include selected standing leaves as well as standing soil samples which will be tested at the Malang Research Institute for Various Nuts and Sweet Potatoes (BALITKABI). The leaf samples used were 12 leaves with 6 leaves each with good and poor growth. The results of DRIS research and analysis showed an imbalance of micro nutrients with Fe values of -0.07, Zn nutrients of 0.07, Zn nutrients of -0.35, and B nutrients of -0.35. The factor of nutrient imbalance at the research location is the condition of nutrients that are easily leached and moved. In this research, it is recommended that continuous fertilization be carried out on nutrients that have a value below 0, while on excess nutrients, silvicultural measures should be taken.
