PERAN ANGGOTA SATUAN KOMUNIKASI RJT DALAM PENANGANAN GAWAT DARURAT KECELAKAAN DI KOTA MALANG

As the number of residents in Malang increases who carry out their daily activities on the roads, an increasing number of motorized vehicles ply the roads of Malang. Due to the increase in people carrying out activities using motorized vehicles on the highway, the level of vulnerability to traffic accidents in Malang is also increasing. Almost every day on several roads in Malang, traffic accidents occur, which cause fatalities. This research aims to find out how the role of an organizational member is carried out by the RJT Communication Unit (SATKOM) in Malang. This research method uses qualitative research methods, the data source for this research comes from primary and secondary data. The main target focus of this research is to determine the role of a member of the RJT Communication Unit (SATKOM) in handling traffic accident victims in Malang City. Determining subjects in this research used proportional sampling. Data collection methods used in this research include observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this research show that the role of members of the RJT Communications Unit (SATKOM) is to handle traffic accident victims, where the implementation of these activities includes actions that have rational values. This can be interpreted as meaning that the actions carried out by members of the RJT Communication Unit (SATKOM) have conscious considerations and calculations and have goals that already exist in connection with individual values that are absolute or absolute. The actions carried out by members of the RJT Communication Unit (SATKOM) have rational value actions, which are collaborated with social values circulating in society, this creates values and goals in helping people who experience traffic accidents in Malang.
