Abstract

In the industrial world, especially chicken breeders, when counting eggs, they still use the traditional and simple method, the traditional and simple method is by taking eggs and counting the eggs manually by taking them one by one. Therefore, the implementation of this project is a chicken egg counter prototype using a VL6180X sensor and DC motor conveyor. Data collected from the VL6180X sensor shows an average level of accuracy of 80% from 100 trials. This tool is very important and really needed by farmers so that the work of raising chickens is more effective and efficient. The results show that the use of PID parameters only helps to stabilize the conveyor, reduce overshoot and ensure that the motor does not stall.
